Greg was born in Dayton, Ohio and lived in Ohio until his high school graduation. He became a follower of Jesus Christ in 1966 through the ministry of Greenwich Baptist Tabernacle as a result of Vacation Bible School. In 1976 Greg moved to Arlington, Texas and after finishing his undergraduate degree married Lisa Carlisle on May 15, 1981. They have served together in two churches since their marriage. Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas and at Covenant Life Baptist Church in Kennedale since November of 1987. Spending time with his family is one of Greg’s passions. Together Greg and Lisa have three children, Bryson and his wife Mandy, Grant, and Kassi and her husband Joshua Dickens. One of their greatest joys is their four grandchildren, Brylan, Kash, Audry, and Titus Dickens. Greg’s ministerial preparation includes two graduate degrees. He earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling (M.A.B.C.) from Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Minnesota in 1999 and Master of Theology degree (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas in 2010. Greg enjoys reading, aviation, football, various genres of music, and driving his convertible with his wife in the passenger seat. Serving the people of Covenant Life Baptist Church is one of his greatest privileges.
Jubal was born in Paris, Texas in 1990. He became a follower of Jesus in 2008 at Minnetonka Christian Camp in Oklahoma. In 2010, Jubal moved to Arlington, Texas to pursue his undergraduate degree from Arlington Baptist College. After graduation, he married Marissa Canright on October 4, 2013. Since their marriage, they have served together at Covenant Life Baptist Church. They have a daughter, Maleigh, who was born in November of 2014 and two sons, Lincoln, who was born in May 2017, and Luke, who was born in September of 2020. In addition to his undergraduate degree from Arlington Baptist College, Jubal has completed a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to further equip him for the work of the ministry. Jubal enjoys singing, playing guitar, watching movies, reading comic books, and spending time with his wife and children.
